At the kitchen table in Baexem
Sometimes, as a “ Alderman ,” you don’t have to look far to find inspiring entrepreneurial stories. In Baexem, “ Alderman ” Michel Graef sat down with Will-Jan and Anny van Bergheide.

In their rural setting, two businesses come together: From Bergheide, Will-Jan provides consulting, coaching, and mediation services to entrepreneurs and family businesses on a wide range of issues, while Anny welcomes guests at the B&B.
A striking similarity
Two different businesses, but with one striking similarity: personal connection is key. Will-Jan talked about his conversations with entrepreneurs and the issues that come up during those discussions. Anny spoke about the guests she hosts and the personal connection that is so characteristic of her B&B. Both are humble, dedicated, and enjoy being among people.
Faces
What stands out? That entrepreneurship in Leudal takes many different forms. It’s not just the large companies and major development projects that matter. Smaller entrepreneurs—often literally just around the corner—are also part of our municipality’s economic strength. It’s precisely by talking with them that we learn what’s going on and what matters to the local community. And sometimes that starts simply with a good conversation at the kitchen table.
Working together for the future
Leudal is bursting with entrepreneurship! From global players to small and medium-sized businesses, and from startups to family-owned companies. Through these stories, entrepreneurial Leudal makes its voice heard, and together we showcase what we have to offer. This is how we’re working to create a vibrant and future-proof entrepreneurial climate in Leudal.
