As a rule, a person is registered at the address where he or she lives or sleeps most nights. In the basic registration of persons, we call this the residential address. If the residential address is missing, it is possible to apply for a letter address. The main occupant of the address, the letter address provider, must give permission for the letter address.
This questionnaire is not an application for a mailing address. It is intended to obtain information about your place of residence and the reason for your request for a mailing address. Your answers will be assessed in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations. If further clarification of your situation is required, you will be invited for a personal interview. A member of the Civil Affairs team will contact you within five working days to inform you of the next steps.
