Visit Brightlands Campus Greenport Venlo

On October 1, we’ll be taking business owners to Brightlands in Venlo. During this afternoon event, you’ll get a unique behind-the-scenes look at Limburg’s largest innovation campus dedicated to healthy and sustainable plant-based food. Be inspired by the latest developments and discover what this campus means for the future of the agricultural sector.

This event is specifically intended for agricultural entrepreneurs, but other interested parties are, of course, also welcome to attend.

Program

  • 12:30 p.m.: Lunch and an opportunity to visit the Future Food Experience
  • 1:30 p.m.: Opening remarks by Ingrid Vermeer, CEO of Brightlands Campus Greenport Venlo
  • 1:45 p.m.–4:15 p.m.: An Inspiring Program
    • Agro Exact - Weather & Climate: A Look at the Impact on Crop Production and How to Adapt.
    • Compas Agro: Independent research, innovation, and practical advice for a future-proof agricultural sector.
    • Nick Bos Greenhouse: For high-tech vertical farming and controlled-environment growing.
  • 4:15 p.m.: Closing remarks by Rob Huijten, Director of BASF | Nunhems
  • 4:30–5:30 p.m.: Networking reception

Practical information

  • Date: Thursday, October 1, 2026
  • Program start: 12:30 p.m. Lunch and an opportunity to visit the Future Food Experience
  • End of the program: 4:30 p.m. We’ll wrap up with a networking reception.
  • Transportation from Leudal is included. Of course, you are also welcome to drive to Venlo on your own.
    • The tour bus departs at 11:30 a.m. from Ittervoort and at 12:00 p.m. from Roggel.
  • Participation is free. Lunch and a networking reception are included.
  • You may cancel free of charge up to 14 days before the event. For cancellations made after this deadline or in the event of a no-show, we will charge €50.00 per person to cover the costs incurred. 
  • The event will take place if at least 35 people register.
